Kyle Brown, a UCLA senior, won the men's elite section with a clearance of 17-0.75 (5.20m) at the second Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Grand Prix event at the Big Red Barn facility in Sun City, Calif. Brown, who cleared 17-7 (5.36m) in a recent practice session, had three attempts at a competition personal-best 17-4.50 (5.30m).
